Buganvillas Hotel Suites Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Santa Cruz de La Sierra

The hotel may not be ideal because it smelled like a river of dirt, trash, and poop in the rooms, but the big beds were comfortable. The service was a mix as the staff were helpful but seemed negligent at times. The location in Buganvillas was quiet but required a car to travel.

Upon arrival, I found the hotel to have fine rooms with an en suite bathroom. However, the smaller bedroom had small rooms with leaking faucets, one of them dripping onto the floor, indicating the need for maintenance. The service at the hotel reception was friendly, but I encountered negligence when staff yelled at me to go out and take off my shorts. The location, offering private apartments and being void of traffic noise, was satisfactory and reminiscent of a nice US condo complex with resort amenities. The outside pool area boasted resort-like amenities.

The hotel provided clean rooms with a mini kitchen, living & dining rooms, and en-suite bathrooms. While they were dated and sparsely decorated, the sunbathing near the pools was pleasant. However, the surroundings had an unpleasant smell of dirt, trash, and poop.
